Hello friends,
Apologies for the late newsletter today. I've been a little out of it this week and forgot it was Friday. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Right?
Anywho, this week has been strange. I alternated between bouts of intense productivity and periods where I did nothing but sleep. I just started my period, so I'm sure that's playing a role. My stomach has also felt unsettled. It's so hard to act normal when your stomach feels like it's eating itself from the inside.
On the plus side, Florida is finally cooling off. It's 65 degrees right now, and I have all the windows open. Occasionally the wind blows in a way that makes that whistling and moaning sound. The leaves rustle in the trees, the clouds drift across the moon, and it feels like autumn should. I think I'll take a bath later and fill it with flowers, herbs, and other delicious things.
That's it for this week. Sorry, it's not much, but neither my head nor my heart are in it now. Next week I'll write you a beautiful, sweeping ode to the joys of fall.
Until then, Shabbat shalom,
Yardena
