Thirty-One: Week Thirty-One
Days two hundred and elevn through two hundred and seventeen
Welcome back to Thirty-One, the project where I attempt to write something every day for a year. If you missed any previous issues, you can find them here.
Day Two Hundred and Eleven (November 23rd) Keep your heart open, and let your laughter ring out for all to hear. Day Two Hundred and Twelve (November 24th) What would it be like to sit inside time? Would the edges be visible from the center of the circle? Or would it be more like floating through space, grasping for the nearest celestial body, desperate for something to cling to? Day Two Hundred and Thirteen (November 25th) Doubt comes like a sudden flicker of movement from the corner of your eye. Let it pass just as quickly. Day Two Hundred and Fourteen (November 26th) We’re all just romanticized ideas of the people who love us. Day Two Hundred and Fifteen (November 27th) Keep the stillness inside of you. Let it guide you through the chaos. Day Two Hundred and Sixteen (November 28th) Grab onto the daylight. Gather it close. Keep some in your pockets for emergencies. Day Two Hundred and Seventeen (November 29th) Eyelids like anvils and a leg full of spiders. Such is life at the end of my medication cycle.
I’m offering this project for free, but if you’d like to support me (and get access to our poetry club), consider subscribing. That would be cool.
We’re all just romanticized ideas of the people who love us. Daaaamn!
