a lone butterfly approaches blooming flowers while above, dark clouds signal summer’s arrival— inevitable slowing * the pattering rain falls with wanton abandon singing summer songs to my heart enclosed within the safety of solid walls * the roadside blossoms form an island of yellow bobbing in the breeze from a line of passing cars travelling nowhere at all
