Pareidolia is always interesting. I can still find unusual shapes in clouds, blotches of paint, the grain of a particular cut of wood, even a steak.I even remember the " Nun Bun " when a particular coffee shop in Metro Nashville supposedly had a croissant with an image of Mother Teresa in it.
It must SURELY be a factor in how early humanity evolved artistically. Not an art critic nor a cultural anthropologist, just someone interested in these areas for most of their life.
