This is so typical of dealing with bureaucracy in general. It’s fun that you danced! You are lucky that you could hold AND eventually talk to a human. Some government agencies now have the robot man tell you immediately something along the lines of “Our call volume is too high today. Please try again soon. “. Then they disconnect the call!
Tibetan chants & THROAT - SINGING accompanied by Didgeridoo music, native American / First Nation & taiko drum music would be better. Or AC / DC, My Morning Jacket or the best of Taj Mahal would be better ( My music tastes are all over the MAP ! ). & I HATE / DESPISE dealing with automation on the phone !
A regional business plays " Flowing Streams ". Whilst it was worthy of inclusion on the Voyager record on the space probe, listening to an endless loop is frustrating unless I do some deep breathing & meditate. I could achieve Enlightenment !

Omg I know my dad has been dealing with that recently. He’ll sit on hold for half an hour and then they just hang up.

There’s an Italian place near me that plays Fly Me to the Moon if they need to put you on hold, and my dad gets caught singing to it all the time lol
